ChatGPT reaches Omneky as a custom connector. Add the server once, authorise with your Omneky login, and the whole account is one message away.
Custom connectors live behind developer mode, so there’s one extra switch compared with the others. Plan on about three minutes, on ChatGPT for the web.
Connect Omneky to ChatGPT
- •Turn on developer mode. On the web, open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced and switch Developer mode on. You only do this once per account.
- •Create the connector. Under Apps & Connectors, press Create. Name it Omneky, paste the server URL, and pick OAuth — ChatGPT usually detects that from the server. A clear description helps the model decide when to reach for it: “Generates ad creative, reports on paid media, and launches campaigns.”
- •Authorise Omneky. Sign in to Omneky in the window that opens, choose the brand you want reachable, and approve. The connector then shows as Connected.
- •Enable it in a conversation. Start a new chat, open the connector picker in the composer and switch Omneky on. A good first test: “show me last week’s spend by channel.”

Can’t find the developer mode toggle? On Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces an admin has to allow it first, under Workspace Settings → Permissions & Roles → Connected Data → Create custom MCP connectors. Free accounts can’t add custom connectors at all.

Questions people ask
Can ChatGPT spend money without asking me?
No. Anything that launches or changes spend stays paused until you say go, and Omneky checks minimum budgets and estimated reach first.
Do I need an API key?
No. The connector authenticates over OAuth — you sign in to Omneky in a browser window and nothing secret is stored in ChatGPT.
I can’t find the developer mode toggle.
On Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces an admin has to allow custom MCP connectors first. On a Free account the option isn’t available — you need a paid plan.
The connector is connected but ChatGPT ignores it.
